Police Services Board

The role of the police service board is to ensure that our community receives appropriate policing it needs with a contract with the Ontario Provincial Police. The board is made up of 5 members ( two municipal, two provincial, 1 community) plus a board secretary.

 

The boards mandate is legislated by the Ontario Police Services Act and can be summarized as general management and setting of policing policy police services act r.s.o. 1990, c.p.15 https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90p15#bk14

 

We meet monthly in the JC Herbert room 120 Oxford street 2nd level on the following dates:
Jan 29, Feb 26, March 26, April 23, May 28, June 19, either July or August, Sept 24, Oct 29, Nov 26 at 6pm.
