Candadate Financial Statements 2014
The Muncipal Elections Act section 88.1 (9.1) states "The clerk shall make the documents filed under sections 78 and 79.1 available at no charge for viewing by the public on a website on the Internet or in another electronic format as soon as possible after the documents are filed."
Section 88.1 (10) states that: "No person shall use information obtained from public records described in subsection (5), except for election purposes."
All candidates are required to submit a Financial Statement - Auditor's Report to the Clerk on or before 2:00 p.m. on the filing date which is March 27, 2015.

Important Election Quick Links:
The Town of Ingersoll is running the 2014 Municipal Election via Vote by Mail. The vote by mail approach offers ease and convenience to electors; no need to wait in line to cast a vote or schedule a time to get to the polls. Eligible electors are able to cast their vote in the comfort of their home and drop it in the mailbox at their convenience any time before October 18, 2014, OR hand deliver it to the Town Hall Office or drop it in the Town Hall Drop Box any day prior to 8:00pm on October 27, 2014. Casting your vote is as easy as mailing a letter.
Did you get your Ballot?
You should receive your ballot in the mail by October 10th, if not before. Once you receive your voter kit simply follow the instructions in the kit, and deposit the ballot in the mail before October 18th using the yellow Election Return Envelope, and then the ballot will be delivered to Town Hall to be tabulated on Election Day, OR hand deliver it to the Town Hall Office or drop it in the Town Hall Drop Box any day prior to 8:00pm on October 27, 2014. If you do not receive your voter’s kit in the mail by October 10th please go to the Town Hall Office with Identification that includes your name and address and make application to have your name added to the voters list.

Nomination forms may be filed:
Between January 2, 2014 and September 11, 2014 at any time when the Clerk's Office is open (Regular Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
On Nomination Day, September 12, 2014 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The fee for filing is $200 to run for the head of council and $100 for all other positions. The fee is due when the nomination form is filed. Candidates will receive a refund of the nomination fee if he or she receives more than 2% of the votes cast in the election for office.
