a)      Town Crier Appointment – Request to appoint Doug Turvey as the Official Town Crier for a four-year term.

 

b)      Ingersoll BIA – Request to close Thames Street South between King St. and Charles Street and for assistance from Public Works to drop off and remove barricades at either end of Thames St. South.

c)      cAa Insurance - Request to support call for the Government of Ontario to consider dedicating a portion of the new revenue collected from the provincial portion of H.S.T. charged on gasoline and diesel sales to a new predictable funding mechanism directed to Ontario’s municipalities for transportation infrastructure investment.

 

d)     Ted Hunt – Request for relief from By-Law No.94-3633 (The Noise By-Law) to allow for the 2011 Gospel Music in the Park events each Sunday from June 26th to August 28th from 6p.m. to 9p.m. and permission to close the trail that runs through the park from Canterbury St. to the park bridge during concerts from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. the same evenings.

e)      City of Kingston – Request for support to adopt a resolution supporting an increase to Heads and Beds.

f)       Town of Ingersoll – Resolution to eliminate incentives by municipalities as part of Health Care Recruitment.

g)      Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services – Canvass to determine the Town’s willingness to serve as a host community for evacuations should they be required.

c)      By-Law Number 11-4613 – A by-law to appoint members of Council, citizens and certain employees to committees, local boards and to other positions.

d)     By-Law Number 11-4614 – A by-law to authorize the execution of a lease agreement for the Chamber office
