The new curbside collection program for garbage and recycling starts on September 14 for most of Oxford County, including Ingersoll. The new program will change collection dates while making recycling more convenient.

The new program will also change the timing of curbside collection for businesses in the BIA district. As of September 14, businesses will now receive pickup on Tuesday mornings. Businesses are asked to have garbage and recycling at the curb and ready for pick-up by 7:00 a.m. This new schedule will help to alleviate mid-day truck traffic in commercial areas, which can be a safety hazard for pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
