Ingersoll Parks and Recreation now uses a supervised RANDOM REGISTRATION procedure. All registrations received before the random selection deadline will be processed by random selection, with Ingersoll residents receiving first priority. during the random selection, family registrations will be accommodated. Victoria Park Community Center members must also follow our new registration procedure. All registrations that are received after random selection will be filled on a first come, first served basis


Who is Town of Ingersoll Resident

If your property taxes are paid to the Town of Ingersoll you are an Ingersoll resident


Preference

Due to the popularity of some of our recreation programs, we may not be able to accommodate your first program choice. Please indicate any preference for "second choice" program on your registration form. We'll do our best to accommodate you. Please be advised that your registration may be delayed if the information on the registration form is not filled out completely.

Payments

How to pay
All cheques must be made payable to the "Town of Ingersoll". Debit card can be used after Random Selection.
Please note the following
NSF Cheques: There is a $25.00 charge for any cheque returned NSF. You will be required to replace your original cheque with cash or a certified cheque.
Debit: minimum $5.00 purchase for debit use

Program Confirmation

Program confirmation will be conveyed by mail. If your receipt has not been received three (3) days prior to the first day of the program, please call us at

Class Cancellations

Classes will be held open up to 3 working days prior to start date. Insufficient registration may necessitate the cancellation of a program. We reserve the right to change or cancel programs if necessary


Refund Policy

Class Cancellation
A full refund will be provided if a recreation program is cancelled by the Parks and Recreation Department.
If registration payment was made with Visa or Master Card you will need to bring your card in to process a refund.
Refund requests
Refunds must be requested before the 3rd class unless there are extenuating circumstances, in which case, the request must be approved by a Program Manager. All refunds are pro-rated and are subject to a $20.00 administration fee.
Membership Refunds
Refunds are only granted due to medical reasons (with a doctor's note) or relocation. Any money paid up front at time of purchase is not refundable. (eg: first and last month payment paid at time of purchase) All Refunds are subject to a $20.00 administration fee.

Credit Policy

All credits are pro-rated and are valid for 1 (one) year from date of issue. No administration fee charged for credits.

Weight/Cardio Room Restrictions

Ages 14-16 years, who purchase a membership must participate in an orientation before using the weight room.

Transfer Requests

Class transfers must occur prior to the 3rd class and will be based on class availability. After the 3rd class, transfers will only be allowed at a Program Coordinator’s discretion.

Fee Assistance

The Town of Ingersoll is committed to providing subsidy to Ingersoll residents who cannot afford to pay for programs that we directly offer. For more information please contact Bonnie Ward at 519-425- 1181.

Why Good Programs get Cancelled

Sorry, but excellent programs are sometimes cancelled when participants wait until the last minute to register. We make a decision three days prior to a program's start date to allow for preparation. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
