On Monday, June 10, 2019, the Council of the Town of Ingersoll will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Town’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.


All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study. The meeting is to be held:

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is being made available online at the Town’s website ( on May 3, 2019. Copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study are also being made available as of May 3, 2019, from the Municipal Clerk at the above location (519-485-0120).


Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing, addressed to the Town Clerk, at the above address prior to June 10, 2019, and such written submission will be placed before Council for the meeting.

To: Residents of Harrisview Subdivision

The Town is reviewing Parking Restrictions on the following streets in Harrisview
subdivision: Chatfield Street, Brookfield Avenue, Chamberlain Avenue and Hollingshead Road.

In order to allow all residents to have input into the parking review, the Town will be
holding a drop in meeting on Wednesday May 01, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers at 130 Oxford Street Ingersoll, Ontario. If you are unable to
attend and would like to have input, please contact Sandra Lawson, Town Engineer, at
130 Oxford St., 2 nd Floor, 519 - 485–0120; or on or before Friday
May 03, 2019.
