Oxford county's Join Municipal Coordinating Committee (JMCC) is hosting a public information meeting on February 11 at 7:00 pm to update the community and answer questions on two key issues in Oxford County: the status of Walker Environmental Group's Southwestern Landfill Proposal and the Beachville Area Air Quality Work Plan. Meeting to be held at the Colombo Club at 434719 West Hill Line in Beachville, Ontario. All members of the public are invited to attend. The Town of Ingersoll has been selected as a celebration community for the
2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay. This spring, the torch will pass through our
region and Ingersoll will commemorate the event with a community
celebration.

 

As a celebration community, we have the opportunity to nominate a local
resident to serve as the torchbearer for our community. Do you know someone
in our community who embodies the spirit of celebration, participation and
pride that are central to the 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay? Nominate them
today to be Ingersoll’s community torchbearer.Please complete the attached
form and submit it before the deadline on January 23, 2015. Instructions
for submission are included on the nomination form.
