The Town of Ingersoll is requesting proposals from qualified firms to create a public and a private wireless (Wi-Fi) network within its Downtown Business and Recreation areas. View RFP document.

We have scheduled crack sealing for the designated roads below August 27, 2018 weather permitting. Crack sealing is a part of the Public Works Department pavement preservation program.


Clarke Rd (from Harris St to Culloden Rd)
Victoria St (from Wonham St N to McKeand St)
Thames St S (from Holcroft St to Dufferin St)
Kerr Crescent


There may be dust created by this process and we ask that you avoid parking on the streets during this time to allow for this crack sealing.

Pouring of concrete curb is tentatively scheduled for the week of July 31, 2018. (weatherpermitting).


String line layout is to begin Tuesday July 31, 2018. This involves the placing of steel pegs and string parallel to the proposed curb line at 0.6m from back of curb. HOWEVER THE STEEL PEG MUST STAY IN PLACE.


PLEASE NOTE THAT CONCRETE CAN NOT BE DRIVEN OVER UNTIL FIVE (5) DAYS AFTER IT HAS BEEN POURED. PLEASE MAKE YOUR PARKING  ARRANGEMENTS ACCORDINGLY.THIS INCLUDES REMOVING ANY TRAILERS, BOATS, ETC. YOU MAY NEED TO HAVE ACCESS TO DURING THE CURING  PROCESS.

 

WE REALIZE THIS IS AN INCONVENIENCE, BUT IT IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO PREVENT PREMATURE FAILURE OF THE CONCRETE. PLEASE BE ADVISED  THAT IF YOU DRIVE OVER THE CURBS AND A FAILURE OCCURS, YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE FAILURE.
