Payment Options

All cheques must be made payable to the "Town of Ingersoll". Debit card can be used after Random Selection.


Please note the following

 

NSF Cheques: There is a $25.00 charge for any cheque returned NSF. You will be required to replace your original cheque with cash or a certified cheque.


Debit: minimum $5.00 purchase for debit use

Program confirmation will be conveyed by mail. If your receipt has not been received three (3) days prior to the first day of the program, please call us at:

Classes will be held open up to 3 working days prior to start date. Insufficient registration may necessitate the cancellation of a program. We reserve the right to change or cancel programs if necessary

Refund Policy

A full refund will be provided if a recreation program is cancelled by the Parks and Recreation Department.  If registration payment was made with Visa or Master Card you will need to bring your card in to process a refund.


Refunds must be requested before the 3rd class unless there are extenuating circumstances, in which case, the request must be approved by a Program Manager. All refunds are pro-rated and are subject to a $20.00 administration fee.

 

Refunds are only granted due to medical reasons (with a doctor's note) or relocation. Any money paid up front at time of purchase is not refundable. (eg: first and last month payment paid at time of purchase) All Refunds are subject to a $20.00 administration fee.

Credit Policy

All credits are pro-rated and are valid for 1 (one) year from date of issue. No administration fee charged for credits.

 

Weight/Cardio Room Restrictions

Ages 14-16 years, who purchase a membership must participate in an orientation before using the weight room.


Transfer Requests

Class transfers must occur prior to the 3rd class and will be based on class availability. After the 3rd class, transfers will only be allowed at a Program Coordinator’s discretion.

 

Fee Assistance

The Town of Ingersoll is committed to providing subsidy to Ingersoll residents who cannot afford to pay for programs that we directly offer. For more information please contact Bonnie Ward at 519-425-1181.


Why Good Programs Get Cancelled

Sorry, but excellent programs are sometimes cancelled when participants wait until the last minute to register. We make a decision three days prior to a program's start date to allow for preparation. Please register early to avoid disappointment.

Types of Memberships

Victoria Park Community Centre has a variety of options that are offered with our memberships:

  • Fitness Centre, (cardio equipment, weight equipment and free weights)
  • 25 metre 4 lane pool
  • Two squash courts for daily bookings
  • Daily aerobic classes 
    (Speciality Fitness classes not included)

Types and durations of Memberships

  • Terms are one month; three months; six month and yearly
  • You have use  of the following: Unlimited Weight/Cardio Room (ages 14+); or Aquafit and Fitness Classes (ages 14+); or Squash/ Wally ball (ages 8+); or all recreational swims / public skates only

  • NEW – Unlimited Weight/Cardio room (ages 12-13)
  • Available yearly or 3-month memberships
  • Membership is for two adult members (14+) and up to 4 children residing in the same household
  • Unlimited Weight/Cardio Room (ages 14+); Aquafit and Fitness Classes (ages 14+); Squash/ Wally ball (ages 8+)
  • The entire family receives all recreational swims / public skates only
  • BONUS: 4 FREE Red Cross swim program sessions per child (max. 4 children per family)

All memberships have an option of monthly payments.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide range of recreational programs for all ages, including fitness classes, aquatic lessons, recreational swimming, day camps, karate, learn to skate, movie nights, teen dances, pool birthday parties and special events.
