May 6, 13, 20 & 27 Oxford County Cheese Trail's Big Cheese Days: Visit us and the many other stops along the Oxford County Cheese Trail to win great prizes and to learn more about cheese in Oxford County. 
May 9 The Gallant 21st - Part of the Oxford Remembers Oxford's Own Project - Join historian John Sergeant as he presents the Gallant 21st, a presentation on the Canadian Expeditionary Force's 21st Battalion during World War I. Learn more about the local men of the 168th, who served overseas in the 21st Battalion.  
May 24 YMCA Military Work in Rural Ontario in WWI - Part of the Oxford Remembers Oxford's Own Project Join PhD candidate Jonathan Wieir as he presents on the YMCA's role and works in rural Ontario during World War I. 
June 11 VIMY 100: Presented in partnership with the History Matters Association and the Ingersoll Community Foundation, the museum is pleased to present VIMY 100. An interactive event, VIMY 100 invites visitors to travel back in time to France 1917 as Allied Forces attempt to regain ground in France. Learn more about Canada's soldiers and their role during the First World War and the Battle of Vimy Ridge as you, yourself, become a soldier in the trenches. Learn all about the men and women who served during the First World War and experience life on the front lines of history. Museum Day Camp: Voyageurs & Adventurers

Adventures abound in the Great White North! Follow in the footsteps of the explorers and adventurers who charted a path through the wilderness of Canada, from sea to sea. Try your hand at map making and navigation, as we discover our own corner of the Great White North!

Museum Day Camp: Canadian Critters

Mountain lions, bears and beavers - oh my! Explore Canada's wild side and learn all about the critters that call our country home! Enjoy games, crafts, and a nature walk as we discover what kind of wild things inhabit our own backyards!

Museum Day Camp: Maple Leaf Marvels

From snowmobiles and insulin, to the Canadarm and the telephone, learn all about Canadian inventors and their marvelous creations! Explore these and many more Canadian inventions, while we harness our own creativity to design our very own maple leaf marvel!

July 21 Doughnut Day - Part of the Oxford Remembers Oxford's Own Project - During World War I, the Salvation Army sought to bolster the troops' spirits by serving them a taste of home in the form of a fresh-baked doughnut. Join us as we celebrate their efforts! Step back in time and enjoy a delicious doughnut while listening to some World War I era entertainment.

Museum Day Camp: It Came from Partlo's Pond

Have you ever wondered what lurks beneath the surface of Ingersoll's rivers and ponds? Could it be the legendary monster of Partlo's Pond? Join us for a day spent exploring the creek and learning all about the legend of the monster of Partlo's Pond.

Museum Day Camp: The Great Stagecoach Robbery

Over 200 years ago, bandit's robbed a stagecoach on route to Ingersoll. Fearing being caught red handed, the bandits buried their bounty somewhere in the fields of Oxford. Join us on an adventure as we uncover clues to discover who did it and solve riddles to find Ingersoll's lost treasure!

Museum Day Camp: The Cheese Stands Alone

You are sure to have 'gouda' fun during this cheesy program! Spend the day as a cheese maker and learn all about how it is made! Join us for a fun, frommage filled day!

Harvest Festival: Celebrate the past during this popular annual event featuring antique tractors and cars, kids crafts, food and craft vendors, petting zoo of farm animals, amusement rides, musical entertainment for young and old, North America's oldest Town Crier Competition, lawn tractor races, and of course, old time threshing demonstrations!

Museum Day Camp: The Theatre, The Theatre

All the world is a stage and it is calling your name! Explore your dramatic side during this fun program as we make masks, design costumes, and prepare our own plays! It won't be all work and not play! We have a full slate of games to play to prepare us for our stage debuts!

Whether it is with paint, clay, or string, explore your creativity with Art Attack! Join us for a full day of arts and crafts projects, silly games and more! Be sure to wear old clothes as we will be getting messy!

September 9 & 10 Halls Creek Festival of Creativity: Find your art at the Halls Creek Festival of Creativity! Try your hand at painting, music, dancing, cooking, and many other art forms at this one of a kind festival!
September 23 Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: Join us as we celebrate the achievements of this year's inductees!
