On behalf of myself and Ingersoll Town Council, I am pleased to bring greetings to both residents and visitors alike. I sincerely wish that you will take advantage of the welcoming atmosphere of our Town all year round. Our population of 13,000 allows us to maintain the small town atmosphere, while providing services of larger municipalities.
Our year round events keep things exciting! Ingersoll offers visitors a unique mixture of leisure and recreational activities set against a backdrop of history and nature. Located within easy driving distance of London, Kitchener and the GTA, Ingersoll is the perfect destination for both day-trippers and vacationers.
Ingersoll has a rich heritage, and it knows how to show it off. From cultural venues like award winning museums, theatres and art galleries to outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, fishing; enjoy a round of golf on our beautiful Golf course or for the kids there is the mini putt or the splash pad; in addition to our Community Centre and Arena facilities for all ages. We also have many beautiful parks, and sports grounds and facilities, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.
We host a variety of seasonal festivals and events including the Canterbury Folk Festival, Harvest Festival, Santa’s Festival Village, and the Festival of Lights. With our summer sidewalk sales, weekly farmers market, and our charming range of downtown stores you’ll find what you’re looking for in Ingersoll.
I hope that you can take time to enjoy our Town and all it has to offer, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
Take care
