Ingersoll Rural Cemetery - Fees

A percentage of the purchase price of all interment rights, as well as a prescribed amount for monuments and markers, is contributed to the Provincially Managed Care and Maintenance Fund. Income from this fund is used to support the general care and maintenance of the cemetery.

The following fees cover the purchase of a plot, crypt, or niche (interment rights) and the associated care and maintenance of the cemetery.

Ontario License Fee
A provincially regulated license fee applies at the time interment rights are purchased and is separate from interment or site preparation fees			$15 per Lot

Transfer of interment rights, including processing the transfer form and issuing a new Interment Rights Certificate

These fees cover the preparation of the site and administrative costs associated with the interment.

In-Ground Burials	$1,400 - An additional $200 applies if no vault is used
Cremation/Infant	$750 - In-ground burial of two remains in this category is available for $1,200
Mausoleum/Crypt	$2,500
Cremation	$300 – Columbarium interment only
General Fees – Saturday Interments
Saturday and Holiday Interment	$350 – this fee is in addition to the above interment fees
Burials are not provided on Sundays or statutory holidays.

Monuments purchases are contracted out via your choice of monument company. Care and maintenance fees for markers and monuments are paid directly to the monument provider, who then forwards these fees to the Cemetery Operator.
