The Town of Ingersoll is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive, barrier-free, and accessible environment. In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code, we provide accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment and selection process. If you require any accommodations, please notify us, and we will work with you to meet your needs.
At the Town of Ingersoll, we are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and skills. We believe that the more inclusive we are, the better our work and service levels will be. Council and staff actively participate in DEI learning and initiatives, with consistent opportunities to build knowledge, reflect, and contribute.
Website Accessibility Standards
We are continuously working to further the accessibility of our website and municipal services to break down barriers and increase inclusion for all residents and visitors. Our goal is to meet and, where possible, exceed the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Specifically, this website aims for WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance. While we strive for total digital inclusion, we recognize that some older documents may not be fully optimized. These older documents are available in accessible formats upon request.
If you cannot access specific content or encounter a barrier on our website, please let us know so we can provide an alternative solution.
