Ingersoll Rural Cemetery

Ingersoll Rural Cemetery is located at 603809 Cemetery Lane and officially opened in August 1864. To date, there have been more than 17,000 burials. The cemetery includes a mausoleum, three columbariums, and 24 sections.

The Ingersoll Rural Cemetery is licensed under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 through the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (Cemetery Operator Number 3293271 and BAO License #LRN-06691), and is governed by Regulations By-Law 1-2013, which regulates the rights, entitlements and restrictions with respect to Interment Rights, in accordance with the above legislation.

Office Hours

The Cemetery Office is now located at Ingersoll Town Hall, 130 Oxford Street, 2nd Floor, Ingersoll, ON N5C 2V5.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
